As a listing agent for this transaction, I had my work cut out for me. There was a notice of default on the home and then a bank sale date in the middle of escrow! The first buyer wouldn't sign off on contingencies and hired an attorney, then decided to cancel escrow at the last minute. Dana had to deal with the attorney's unreasonable requests as the buyer refused to sign the cancellation agreement, although he initialed cancellation! We were able to get into escrow again with a different buyer but faced obstacles on whether escrow was going to close in time to avoid the bank sale date. But Dana made it happen! She is my go-to escrow officer and deserves all the credit for making sure we closed in time!
